Traveling is the art, indeed, because not everyone will open their wings to fly or come out of their nest to explore the world, due to their own various reasons.
My name is Karthik, a guy whose profession is playing with data to find insights from it. Apart from his profession, who born to develop creative minds through the art of ‘Traveling and Photography’.
Since childhood, I love to travel and visit new places, but my travel is very limited till the age of 20’s. Apart from few school and family tours, there is no any major traveling in part of my life.
Later, when I discovered the interest in photography, I slowly started to travel. I need to capture various photos that automatically trigger me to find and travel to many new places.
Why I Travel Solo
I usually prefer to travel solo, because a solo travel plan will work in my way always and do not need to depend on others to execute the plan. I can make my plan spontaneously based on the weather and choice of places. I can start my travel day early, which will give time to cover more places and can avoid the crowds. While traveling solo have the freedom to go where I want, where to go, when to go, and the budget can afford.
In group traveling, need to depend on your mates or friends to execute the plan most of the time. Each one will have different tastes and interests. The challenges in group traveling need to convince your friends, collaborate, chase them and to make the people arrive on time, and so on. While traveling with group if someone cancels the trip, then the mood might oscillate.
Why solo traveling is important
In solo traveling, you can enjoy your own company, and you can learn new things because you are coming out of your comfort zone. While coming out of your comfort zone, boosts productivity, creativity and makes yourself stronger. In solo traveling, it helps to know yourself better by understanding your strengths and weakness, which in the end helps to builds those skills.
Meeting New People
Traveling will helps to build relationships with new people and will make you talk to new people. During traveling, there might be a chance you will get lost or take the wrong path due to a lack of GPS or various things. This will make you build conversations with new people and helps to know each other better during the journey. Another, a great idea is to get the connection with new people while staying in the hostel, because there you will get a chance to talk to people from various countries during the stay.
Choices of Travel and Money
Traveling solo has the freedom to make your itinerary based on the interest and choices available.Help you to understand the importance of time management and the value of money.
Traveling is not only about crossing the border to different countries and cities. Traveling can also be done within the same country, cities, and even in small towns/villages. Traveling covers various aspects like historical places, museums, monuments, hiking, so one can pick places based on their interest. You can solely try climbing a mountain, watching the sunrise or sunset, hiking the mountain, beaches, lakes, rivers, and so on.
While traveling solo, the main advantage is you can save more money, you can stay in a hostel or tent based on the places you travel or visit. There is a wrong myth that traveling always requires huge money.Further, while traveling in the off season will help to save accommodation and airline costs.
Since I started my photography along with traveling, I receive lots of negative and jealous messages through social media. Initially, I worried a bit but later I was not caring about it. The reason for my traveling is to make my mind refresher from stress and keep healthy rather than partying or wasting time on other pieces of stuff. I believe through traveling I am learning many things also providing valuable content through my posts.
In traveling, you will see lots of colors, cultures, people, food, experience, which ultimately gives you great memories, knowledge and experience.
